1. Zero 7 Hit Mixcloud
Big tings: Grammy award nominees and downtempo heavyweights Zero 7 fire up an exclusive mix to support their compilation album Record, a collection of handpicked highlights from Zero 7’s first decade due June 28th 2010. Henry Binns & Sam Hardaker started out producing the Pet Shop Boys & Robert Plant at RAK studios whilst remixing Lenny Kravitz and Radiohead on the side. The latter formed a precursor to 2001’s Simple Things, which instantly propelled the duo to international acclaim. This mix sees a different side to Zero 7’s signature electronica, predominantly showcasing the best from 2009’s garage scene. Nice work.
