But which top 10 dance profiles did we spend the most minutes listening to on Mixcloud in 2017? Read below to find out.

10. Don Diablo

With a highly-anticipated album due in 2018, Don Diablo has fast-become one of the leading figures in the global EDM movement.

His weekly show ‘Hexagon Radio’ has reached its 150th episode, a deserving milestone for one of the busiest DJs on the circuit today.

9. Above & Beyond

Described by DJ Magazine as “the biggest DJ/production collective the UK has ever produced”, Above & Beyond have cemented their reputation as pioneers of dance music.

‘Group Therapy’, the trio’s weekly radio show, blends guest mixes with interviews and the finest ‘trance and progressive’ sounds, a combination which has won the group a loyal listeners from all over the world.

8. Carl Cox

Nine months ago and 722 episodes later, Carl Cox shocked the dance community when he announced the end to his legendary radio show ‘Global’.

Even so, the three-deck wizard still managed to rank in our top 10 most listened to dance profiles on Mixcloud in 2017, landing at number 8. Global might be no more, but it seems as though we just can’t get enough of Carl Cox.

7. Adam Beyer

Adam Beyer is without doubt one of the most formidable forces in dance music today.

His modern techno imprint, Drumcode, is recognised throughout the world as an authority on all things techno and his weekly radio show ‘Drumcode Radio’ treats fans to live recordings from Beyer’s seemingly endless globe-trotting tour.

6. Markus Schulz

Since Markus Schulz joined the platform, over 60 million minutes have been spent listening to his Global Radio Broadcast radio show on Mixcloud. To put it in perspective, that equates to over 114 years of non-stop music.

The numbers are phenomenal and go to show how the Miami-based DJ/producer has rightfully earned his place in trance royalty.

5. Nicole Moudaber

There’s no slowing down for Nicole Moudaber. 2017 has been a huge year for the unstoppable techno DJ and producer, with an insanely busy schedule taking her famous ‘MOOD’ brand all over the world.

Her weekly radio show ‘In The MOOD’, now in its third year, is just another example of why Nicole Moudaber is perhaps one of the most underrated DJs around today. Expect dark and ‘moody’ selections, whether recorded in the confines of a studio or live at one of Nicole’s many worldwide appearances.

4. DJ HACKs

Claiming the fourth spot in this year’s most listened to dance profiles on Mixcloud is DJ HACKs. The Tokyo-based DJ has become renowned for his yearly round-up of the biggest dance hits, from EDM and trance to house and future bass.

In fact, his ‘Best 2017 (So Far) Vol. 1’ mix was the third most listened to show on Mixcloud in 2017, which is no small feat for even the biggest names in the scene today.

3. Maestros Del Ritmo

Comprised of John Trend and the duo Dirty Nano, Maestros Del Ritmo are a Romanian collective currently taking the Mixcloud charts by storm with their monthly shows. The trio specialise in strictly the finest deep house and tech house, and clock up tens of millions of minutes on Mixcloud.

What’s more, their ‘Vol 23’ mix was the most listened to show on Mixcloud this year, which will help earn them even more loyal followers from around the globe.

2. DJ Stevie B

DJ Stevie B is proof, if ever it were needed, that you don’t need to be a superstar DJ to top the Mixcloud charts. Over 300 shows later, Germany-based Stevie B has captivated Mixcloud listeners with his eclectic blend of dance music, from melodic tech house to nu-disco.

With over 42,000 followers and counting, Stevie B’s rise to the top seems inevitable.

1. John Digweed

Taking home the number one spot in our most listened to dance profiles this year is UK veteran John Digweed. His weekly radio show, Transitions, is a staple in the dance community, broadcasting across 45 countries to a staggering weekly audience of 14 million.

This year, Digweed surpassed the 200,000 follower milestone on Mixcloud, making him one of the most followed artists on the platform. All the signs point to another successful year ahead, with Transitions destined to become the most listened to radio show on Mixcloud.
