The International Radio Festival (IRF) is the world’s only on-air festival of its kind. It brings together industry people and creators to discuss ‘how the world sounds’. With a shared goal of discovering the best music radio from around the world, the collaboration between Mixcloud and IRF was natural.
This partnership led to the new award for IRF 2013: Mixcloud “Best Online Radio Show” Award”. This is presented to the best radio show that is available online weekly or monthly via Mixcloud.
Ran through the competition page, 200 radio shows entered. Mixcloud’s content team reviewed them and shortlisted the best 11:

Shortlisted shows were then sent to our panel of music industry experts who judged using key statistics about the show, page and social media channels. Judges were asked to decide their top 3 considering music selection, production, presentation and promotional skills.
