New Profiles and Player

The past few weeks have seen big changes for Mixcloud.

The tech team have been working non-stop to deliver a brand spanking new player and profile pages. Changes which were all rolled out at the end of last month.

Profile pages were beginning to look a bit cluttered, there was nowhere to add new stuff (such as the great new playlists feature) so we moved everything around…it’s now easy to find all of the different bits of pieces using the tabs under the profile picture. Followers have been moved up the page and organized into a sleek list, below display names, making it easier to view whomever is following that profile.

The team have also overhauled and transformed the Mixcloud player into a new full-page player, which now allows you to play entire lists of Cloudcasts back-to-back by hitting the “play all” button. Plus there’s handy music-control interface on the top of the page and the ability to simultaneously comment on the Cloudcast while you’re listening to it.

Always looking forward, we hope you enjoy the updates.
