Here at Mixcloud we’re extremely stoked to present you with a few of our favourite cloudcasts from new Mixcloud members, Glasgow’s Lucky Me collective. Straddling between music and art they have a record label, host club nights and design artwork for distinguished electronic music labels such as Planet Mu. Boasting Hudson Mohawke and Rustie as jewels in their crown they champion sounds that sit between avant-garde electronica and hip-hop and their mixtapes are a snapshot of their electic taste.
Having hosted a stage at this year’s Sonar festival they’re definitely proving a themselves to be an important player in the future of quality and innovative electronica. Contributions to their mix series come from the likes of Stones Throw’s James Pants, Hyperdub’s Kode 9 and Rinse FM/Eglo Record’s Alexander Nut their mixtapes pick only the finest talent from the electronic music scene whether it be vintage funk from Los Angeles or or the zaniest take on dubstep from Austria.
So here we present some our favourites that you should definitely pay some attention to…
