It’s been an incredible month here at Mixcloud thanks to our Celebration of Curation campaign which saw 31 curators uploading 31 Cloudcasts in 31 days throughout August. Mixcloud is all about discovering great radio presenters and DJs, and bringing together curators from all over the world to one place so that you can have the very best mixes, radio shows and podcasts at your fingertips. With everyone from Tumblr to Mixmag, Vice Magazine, XLR8R, Ibiza Sonica, Drowned In Sound and many many more the campaign produced some of the most varied, eclectic and original content around. You can check out all 31 Cloudcasts on the campaign page but here are a few we have selected to whet your appetite.

Don’t Stay In: Don’t Stay In ended the month in style with an incredible set by Carl Cox recorded live at Space in Ibiza on his birthday earlier this year. Trust us, this isn’t one to miss!

BBC Radio 1Xtra: BBC Radio 1Xtra’s very own Rampage got everyone in the mood for this year’s Nottting Hill Carnival with this warm up guaranteed to get everyone in the mood for a boogy.

Dazed Digital: Currently our most listened to Cloudcast of the campaign, courtesy of Tim Noakes from Dazed Digital who put together an epic two and a half hour homage to Dazed’s favourite films of all time, including movie anthems, trailers, quotes and more.

Who Sampled: A journey through the history of hip hop in just one mix? Impossible you say? Apparently not after the guys at Who Sampled put together one of the best hip hop mixes  ever to grace Mixcloud. This is quite simply compulsory listening and comes with a Mixcloud satisfaction guarantee!

Red Bull Music Academy Radio: The guys at Red Bull Music Academy Radio pulled out all the stops and made use of their wealth of talent with this little number packed full of techno, house and more.

For a full list of Cruators and their Cloudcasts from the likes of DJ History, Fabric, Drum & Bass Arena and more head to the official Celebration of Curation page. Spread the word, tell you friends and post a comment below to let us know what your favourite Cloudcast of the campaign was!
