Here’s a few tips on what to to next, how to promote your mix & profile to get the most from Mixcloud….

Embeddable widget – simply hit the button (top right) on any cloudcast page to grab the code, which can be pasted into any HTML site, blog, forum post or myspace e.g.

Community Recommendation – Remember to ask your listeners, followers, friends and fans to vote for you in the Mixcloud Monday, community picks, featured categories.

Social Distribution FeaturesConnect your mixcloud profile to Twitter / Facebook / Tumblr etc. –  NB you’ll get some nice @mention promo amongst other twitter users! 🙂

Friend Finder – Find out which of your email contacts are already using Mixcloud, follow them or invite them to join the Cloud Radio Revolution!

Meta-data – Be sure to add full track lists and search friendly tags as this will help listeners discover you through Mixcloud site search and the various search engines.

Mixcloud Ads To raise your visibility on Mixcloud even more, you can buy display ads through our simple self-service ad solution.

Social Sharing – Hitting the </> button again, you can also share a Cloudcasts, by posting directly to – Twitter / Facebook / Myspace / Digg / Stumbleupon

  1. i have paid for 3 sponsered links to my mix’s on my mixcloud account and get no return in followers??? What is the point in paying for it … since i have promoted my recent mix’s i have had no new listeners/followers… where as 2 weeks previous did not pay for no promo link and was getting on average 2-3 new followers/listeners daily.. now all activity has got stagnant… im i that bad at trying to be a dj????? http://www.mixcloud.com/paulkays/
