Another week and another bunch of big names joining the ‘Cloud to share their greatness with all you lucky listeners.

First up we have a couple of house legends, Jon Da Silva and Jon Sa Trinxa.

Da Silva was part of the first wave of British acid house DJ’s who pushed the sound forward at clubs like the Hacienda – where he became a resident – just read the gushing quote from Sasha on his profile for confirmation of this mans stature.

Sa Trinxa has also been around since the early days, but decided to ply his trade in Ibiza, becoming one of the original exponents of the Balearic sound. He holds the longest residency on the island, from 1994 to this day, at his very own Sa Trinxa chiringuito and has uploaded some of his eclectic shows for Radio Sonica to help you anticipate the summer season.

A slightly younger – but nonetheless influential – Mixcloud noob, is Daniel Ormondroyd AKA Dan Kahuna AKA one half of the magnificent FC Kahuna. One of few acts to successfully straddle both the big beat and electro-clash trends, they were also responsible for one of the best electronic albums of the last decade in Machine Says Yes, some classic singles like Hayling and Glitterball, and of the finest Essential Mixes ever (hint hint).

We’ve saved the best for last though, as we are very pleased to announce the Mixcloud debut of probably the greatest hip hop producer of all time; DJ Premier. The man behind the beats for Gangstarr, Jeru the Damaja, Mos Def, KRS-One and even Christina Aguilera, he is also a talented DJ and has uploaded some of the best mixes from his radio show blog.
