Mixcloud Co-founder Mat Clayton speaks at f8 London

Facebook yesterday held an f8 developer conference in London, with speakers digging into the Open Graph API to explain how app developers can take advantage.

The guys at .net magazine have written a thorough review of the event. Here’s what they had to say about the talk from our very own Mat Clayton about the Mixcloud integration with Facebook.

The final third of the afternoon kicked off with a talk from Mat Clayton from music service Mixcloud about their Open Graph launch. Integrating social features into the app resulted in a 55 per cent drop in bounce rate and a big increase in dwell time, he explained, while using the Facepile social plug-in increased signup conversion by 200-300 per cent.

Glade and Gottwood…

Monday, July 25th, 2011

So the update’s are a little late, but we thought we’d share our love and some pictures for two electronic dance festivals we hit up/collaborated with in June and July.

Back in June we hit  the venerable Glade where Global Communication, Adam Beyer Trentemøller, and Sub Focus melted our minds…Big up to the Glade organizers who left people talking about it for weeks.

Peep a couple of pictures courtesy of Danny Perez:

In July, we also hit up the young and upcoming electronic dance festival Gottwood in North Wales which is  set in a small grove of woods amongst surrounded by empty fields next to a secluded beach amongst some of the most Majestic scenery ever! Check out these pictures of our little adventure to Gottwood, courtesy of DJH. Good times! Good festival!

Enjoy. See you next year!
