Dear Esteemed Cloudcasters,

Today we’re delighted to announce the launch of one of our biggest feature requests to date. Drum roll please…

Yes that’s right, we’re blowing the lid off the 100 Mb limit! Mixcloud now accepts unlimited sized uploads – and it’s still FREE!

As our good friend Arnie would say – do it. Do it now.

    Great addition! But you say it’s STILL free. Does this mean you plan to introduce to us paid subscription packages for unlimited sized accounts?

    Hi guys, what sort of thing is happening with the bitrate here. I’ve been chopping my mixes at v4 VBR to get a decent CD length mix under 100mb. Now if I stick in a 350mb monster, what sort of bitrate is going to be coming out at the other end?

    Hi,

    Please avoid any variable bitrates. Now there’s no longer a limit, 350mb should be fine but you might want to re-compress to make the upload process easier for you.
